He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Goddard; his sons, Mark Goddard and Josh McTyre; his sister Terri Langham; and his mother Betty Goddard.

He is survived by: his father James Goddard of Fort Smith; his children, Melissa Morgan (Daniel) of Fort Smith, Matt Goddard of Fort Smith, Jack McTyre (Sarah) of Fort Smith and Pepper McTyre of Bentonville; and his grandchildren, Christian, Braxton Huynh, Emma, Olivia and Benjamin McTyre.
