He is survived by: his wife Judith Wanda Carlisle (Meredith) of Greenwood, Arkansas; his children, Russell Alan Carlisle Jr. (Sarah) of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Judith Margaret Dunmire (Carlisle) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, Ellie Carlisle, Samuel Carlisle and Dr. Leslie Whittenburg (Brenden); his great grandchild Nel Elise Whittenburg; and his brother Richard Carlisle (Linda) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
