He is survived by: his wife Deana Nelson; his sons, Ronald Dale Nelson, II (Amy) and Dustin Kelly Nelson; and his siblings, Leroy Nelson (Carolyn), Doris Sallie and Linda Finn. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
