He is survived by: his son Eli Chance Burgess; his sisters, Kathy Linville of Glenwood and Kim of Glenwood; his brother-in-law Bryan McCormick of Glenwood; his nephews, Steve Bates (Kelli), Joe Bates, Josh Bates and Brandon Bean; and his niece Shena Thew. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
