It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Masako Musset (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Gene Musset. She is survived by: her children, Lia Berdan (Cary) of Fort Smith, Mia McCown (Todd) of Frisco, TX, Hrege Musset of Fort Smith, Kobi Musset of Fort Smith and Tije Musset (Glenda) of Fort Smith; her brother Mitsuri Ogawa of Osaka, Japan; her grandchildren, Abigail Musset, Katelyn Whittaker (Brandon), Rush McCown and Leia McCown; and her great grandchild Walker Whittaker.

“I am so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She was so sweet and kind to me(us). I remember a vacation we all shared where I was blessed to be invited as part of the Musset family.. Masako and I shared a closet for sleeping quarters!! She was a hoot! It’s difficult to watch our parents go through the aging process and become someone so different from how we knew them as children. That process however never changes how much our parents loved us. May you all never forget that…”
