He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesie Marvin Newsom and Bertha Faye Newsom (Cravens); his wife Patsy Newsom; and his brother Jack Newsom. He is survived by: his daughters, DeAnne Lee (Joseph Flatbush) of Fort Smith and Beth Harrison (Patrick) of Van Buren; and his siblings, Charlotte Johnson (R. H.) of Magazine, Joe Newsom of Rowlett and Bob Newsom (Judy) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
