He was predeceased by: his father Paul Blankenship; and his brother Wendell Blankenship. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Dillard (Dewayne) of Brandon, MS; his mother Archie Blankenship of Fordyce; his brothers, Ronald Blankenship (Sherry) of Westville, OK and Richard Blankenship of Fordyce; and his grandchildren, Graham Dillard of Brandon, MS., Hazel Dillard of Brandon, MS. and Max Dillard of Brandon, MS..
