He is survived by: his son Walter L. Catron; his wife Marian Hall; his daughters, Dawn Nowlin and Dina Trimble; his sons-in-law, Bill Nowlin and Joe Trimble; his grandchildren, Nicole, Katy Nowlin, Georgia and Will Trimble; his nephew Bill Yowell; and his nieces, Holly Yowell Kilby and Jill Stapleton.
Due to COVID-19 there will be a private graveside service for just family.
