He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yates and Dorothy Yates (Stufflebeam); and his wife Janette Yates. He is survived by: his sisters, Diane Freet, Dolores Gross and Mary Gail Sims of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his nephew Joshua Oldham (Christina) of Fayetteville; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daytona Oldham, Havana Oldham, Canton Oldham, Aroura Oldham and Dahlia Kelley. He is also survived by four step-sons; and numerous grandchildren.
