She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Smith Davis and Thomas M. Davis; her siblings, Thomas Davis (Buster), Bettye Weare and Harold Davis; and her husband Robert Vaughan.

She is survived by: her sisters, Bettye June and Mary-Jo Henderson (Paul) of Howe Texas; her children, Andre Houser (Cathy) of Conroe Texas, Sandra Harrington of Elkins and Annie Quinn of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Stephen Reyes (Kaitlyn), Travis Houser (Karen), Alexander Reyes (Carolina), William Reyes, Shawn Davis, Austin Houser (Lauren), Lyndon Houser (Mary) and Allyson Gagliano (Sam). She is also survived by 8 great grand children, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
