Glenda Susan Ames Leslie Obituary

Glenda Susan Ames Leslie, age 73, of Fayetteville passed from this life July 1, 2020 in Fayetteville. She was born May 6, 1947 to Jack Glenn and Norma Lorene Harris Ames. Susan had worked for the United States Department of the Army in Washington DC before returning to Fayetteville and finishing her career in civil service as a clerk and lab technician with the Veteran's Hospital.

Susan is survived by her husband of 51 years James Leslie; her daughter Vikki Brianna Leslie-Davidson of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Lauren and Buckly Phillips of Fayetteville; her brother Byron Paul Ames of Benton, Arkansas; a sister-in-law Dorothy Elaine Adair of Tucson, Arizona, and a brother-in-law Douglas Kent Leslie of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Graveside services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 4:40 pm Monday, July 6, 2020 at Moore's Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
