He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Jesse McConnell and Ruby Jewel Williams McConnell; his wife Carol Janette McConnell; his son Francis Jeffery McConnell; his siblings, Jesse Fay McConnell, Raymond Ray McConnell and Helen Joyce Smith; and his granddaughters, Angelica Belle McConnell and Christina Jewel McConnell.
He is survived by: his daughter Tini Lynette Sullins (Gary); his grandchildren, Alexander Jeffery Akin (Donna), Savannah Morgan Bates (Max), Victoria Elizabeth Dunn (Dylan) and Mackenzi Faith Akin; and his great grandchildren, Jeffery Logan Walls, Camden Gage Bates, Stoney Blake Akin and Remi Lynn Bates.
