She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Thompson and Desi Pottridge Thompson; her husband Garland Tolbert; and her brothers, D. "Don" Thompson, Dale Thompson and Steve Thompson.
She is survived by: her stepmother Beatrice Thompson; her daughter Christy Payton (Tommy) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her siblings, Dwayne Thompson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kathie Sosa of Fort Smith and Geneva Cook of Mesa, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Marty Payton of Fayetteville and Melody Payton (J. Seeley) of Elm Springs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
