She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Goines and Patricia Goines; and her daughter Jamie Spears. She is survived by: her husband James Spears; her daughters, Deanne Drain (David) and Melanie Higgs (Adam); her brother Kenneth Goines (Barbara); her sister-in-law Lynda Brumley; her grandchildren, Amber Drain, Colby Drain, Alyssa Richert (Brandon), Nikki Hoodenpyle (Gabe), Kaci Drain and Tyler Higgs; her great grandchildren, Trista, Trinity Doss, Treyshawn, Austin, Isaiah Drain and Grayson Hoodenpyle; her brother David Pearson; and also, Bill, Charlene McCandless, Zahn and Tamara Lewis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
