He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Tammy Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Stahlman of De Queen; his sons, Jason Johnson of Tennessee and Kevin Johnson (Rachel) of Tyler, Texas; his grandchildren, Landon, Colton, Teya, Delaney and Dakota; his sister Sandy; his brother-in-law Steve Mills of Lafayette, Louisiana; and his mother-in-law Virgie McPherson of De Queen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
