She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Carranza and Socorro Ambriz; her husband Rosario Cervantes; her son Juan Cervantes; and her siblings, Aristeo Carranza, Valentin Carranza and Berna Carranza.
She is survived by: her children, Octavio Cervantes, Miguel Cervantes, Pedro Cervantes, Baldemar Cervantes, Gavino Cervantes and Dolores Cervantes; her stepdaughter Teresa Cervantes; and her sister Domitila Carranza. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
