She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bratton and Ida Kelley Bratton; her husband Gilbert "Dick" Sponel; and her sisters, Ruby Hutcherson, Ruth Prochazka, Retha Griest and Reba Guymes.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Lisa Sponel; her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law David Ivy; her grandchildren, William and Rachel Ivy; and her sister Betty Wesley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
