She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hicks and Billie Swilley Hicks; and her grandparents, Wiley, Virgie Turner-Hicks, Frank and Violet Swilley.
She is survived by: her stepmother Johnnie Mae Biggs; her sisters, Karen Hicks Standridge and Frankie Mae Carpenter; her aunt Mary Sue Silvertooth; her pet Molly; and her niece Porter Carpenter. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
