She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter David Locke and Esther Locke Morton; and her husband Floyd Edward Carter, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Floyd Edward Carter, Jr. (Eddie), Janice Thessing (Dan) and Rebecca Keith (Dean); her grandchildren, Jason Thessing (Marium), Jessica Rister (Christopher), David Plummer, Sarah Plummer and Michael Plummer; and her great grandchildren, Arielle Appleby, Hunter Thessing, David, Daniel and Charlotte Rister.
