He was predeceased by: his father Martin Phillips Sr.; and his wife Dorothy Ann. He is survived by: his children, David Lee Phillips, Luther Martin Phillips (Mary Hill) and Betty Sue Ayers; his nephew Mike; and his niece Dixie West.
