She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hightower and Bernice Hightower (Thompson); and her siblings, Ellis Hightower, Zebbede Louis Hightower, Clarence William "Sonny" Hightower, James Hightower, Sr. and Bessie "Cindy" Hightower Wesley.

She is survived by: her siblings, LueEthel Flood of Flint, MI, Minnie Jean Hightower of Pasadena, CA, Johnnie Hightower (Tammie) of Conway, AR, Luther Leon Hightower and Anthony Wayne Hightower; and her uncle James Hightower of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
