He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Walters and Coy Walters; his son Jesse Walters; his grandson Johnny Ray Hooks; and his brothers, Steve and Willie Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Syble; his children, Lacy "Pete" (Jamie) of Conway, Cindy (Randy Neely) of Camden and Jeannette; and his sister Bertha McClure. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
