He was predeceased by: his father Elwin H. Gayler; his brother Jackie Gayler (Shirley); and his niece Brenda Gayler Layne. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Angela Cotton; his grandchildren, Shonda Cotton Brand (John) and Brook Bennett (Michael); his great grandchildren, Logan Cotton, Lucas Bennett, Emmy Brand, Olivia Bennett and Jaxson Brand; and his nephew Jeff Gayler. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
