He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Schmidt and Ruby L. Long. He is survived by: his wife Mae Schmidt of Conway, AR; and his siblings, Sam Schmidt of Russellville, AR, Ronnie Schmidt of Hawaii, Diane Colburn of Cold Springs, TX and Susan Russell of Cold Springs, TX. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
