He is survived by: his wife Ann Smith; his daughters, Michelle Leigh Feese (Joe) of Birmingham, AL and Jessica Raye Simpson (John) of Conway, AR; his grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Smith, Johnny William Simpson Jr., Anthony Ryan Simpson, Taylor Daniel Simpson and Nellie Leigh Feese; and his great grandchildren, Shane Anthony Burkett Jr. and River RayeAnn Smith.
