He was predeceased by: his parents, Vic Starkey and Ann Starkey (Irby); and his brother Dennis Starkey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Starkey (McDaniel); and his children, Dondra Simpson, Hugh Starkey (Gina), Faith Speight (Mark) and Hope Sur (Pierre). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
