She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Asberry Hurd and Rosalee Ruso Hurd; her brother Billy Wayne Hurd; her nephew Doug Hurd; her children, Renee Jean Mize, Billy Wendell Mize (Melinda) and Lance Wayland Mize (Anita); her siblings, John Marshall Hurd (Betty), Herman Eldon Hurd (Wanda) and Nancy Diane Duke (George); and her grandchildren, Kirby Randal Mize (Ashton), Cory Wendell Mize (Karen), Amanda Christine Mize Leland (John), Ryan Patrick Mize (Brittany), Selena Fay Kelsay (Matt) and Jessica Lynn Eardman (Jack). She was also cherished by twenty-four great-grandchildren.
