She was predeceased by: her husband Lonnie Nichols, Sr.; and her sons, Charles and Ronnie Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Ethel Willis, Lonnie Nichols, Jr., Connie Jones (Wyman) and Melinda Nichols; and her grandchildren, Lendell McGhee, Ramonica Smith, Jamila McGhee, Allen Willis, Kara Willis, Tula Smith, Kanika Webster, Jamar Webster, Michael Marshall, RonLesha Releford, MaKeisha Nichols, Natasha Smith, Phillip Haney, Ishamel Howard, Tiffany Howard and Nathan Howard. She is also survived by great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
