Eulas Weldon Chism Obituary
Eulas Weldon Chism was born on July 20, 1940 in Plumerville, AR; a son of Athel and Abbie (Bostian) Chism. Eulas passed away on Sunday, May 01, 2022 in Conway, AR at the age of 81.
Eulas was a member of Harding Street Church of Christ in Morrilton, AR for 36 years. He was a farmer and enjoyed working his cattle. Being outdoors was his happy place. Eulas was mechanically inclined and loved to "piddle". He was always working on equipment around the home and farm. Eulas's greatest joy in life was his family. Eulas delighted in spending as much time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as possible. Eulas was a great man and will be missed immensely by his family and friends.
Eulas is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Kenneth Parker; and sister: Janice Sweet.
Eulas is survived by his wife of 61 wonderful years: Lavonne Chism of Caney Valley; sons: Weldon Chism and wife Lisa, Aaron Chism and Jessica of Maumelle; daughters: Paula Dawson and husband Paul, Amy Prosser and Frank all of Plumerville; 6 grandchildren: Kelia Roebuck, Kimberly Chism, Miles Chism, Kelly Chism, Miley Chism, Mason Chism; and 2 great-grandchildren: Alex Court and Abby Court.
Visitation for Eulas will be held on Wednesday, May 04, 2022, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Harding Street Church of Christ in Morrilton. Funeral Service will follow, 2:00 p.m., at the same location with Charles Bane officiating and Mickey Burleson delivering the Eulogy. Interment will be at Plumerville Cemetery.
