She was predeceased by: her father Albert Kelley; and her husband Harold Wharton. She is survived by: her children, Diane Phillips-Freeman (Carlos) and Doye Wharton (Erin); and her sisters, Melba Sanders and Fayedean Casey. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
