She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Melvin Fry and Addie Berdina Caldwell Fry; her husband Howard Cephas Welch; her children, Wayne DeWitt, Frank Gerald "Jerry" DeWitt and Lisa Renee Wimberly; her siblings, Tom Fry, Bud Fry, Melvin Fry and Barbara Smith; and her grandson Daniel DeWitt.
She is survived by: her children, Harold James DeWitt (Rebekah), Terry Lynn DeWitt (Nancy), Rhonda Gail Kuykendall (Cary) and Melisa Dawn Stone; her grandchildren, Jim DeWitt, Ridge Davis, Luke Wimberly, Getulio DeWitt, Misty DeWitt, Logan Cullum, Emily Stone, Skeet Wimberly, Chad Starr, Tabitha Pearce, Daphne Skinner and Greg Kuykendall; her great grandchild Savannah DeWitt; her sister Beverly Groe (John); and her nieces, Teresa, Tina and Janette Whitaker (Dewey). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
