Ashley Crawford Obituary
Ashley Claiborne Crawford was born May 28, 1998 to Minister Martin and Maxine Crawford in Memphis, Tennessee. She professed her belief in Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Donald Johnson in Memphis, Tennessee. As the family moved due to job transfers, her family joined other churches: St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Dobson, Senior Pastor in Eldorad, Arkansas, First Northeastern Baptist Church, Pastor Masolwa, Senior Pastor in Columbia, South Carolina. Eight years ago the family moved to Conway and joined Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Bennie L. Jackson, Pastor where she remained a member until her name was called on May 8th, 2022 and she answered. She transitioned and is now at home with our Lord. While attending Salem, she sang in the choir and participated in various church activities such as VBS and the drama department.
Ashley graduated from Conway High School in 2016. She furthered her education by receiving training in the medical field. Ashley was employed at Baptist Health Center for Clinical Research as a Phlebotomist. There along with everywhere she traveled or worked, her humble, loving, and pleasant personality became contagious to everyone she meet.
Simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Ashley. She enjoyed cheerleading, singing, traveling, and humbly helping others. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family on fishing trips, Disney trips, movie nights, potluck fellowship, or just relaxing and laughing together.
Ashley is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Larry Crawford.
