She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nichols and Beather Knox Nichols; and her siblings, Roy, Jr., Jimmie, Lavelle, Hayes Richard, Mary Louise and Rosa Anna.

She is survived by: her son Lloyd Edward Hervey (Verna); her grandchildren, Stephanie Alicia (Cedric), Christopher Reuel (Yolanda) and Lloyd Edward II; and her great grandchildren, Alexis and Harlem Bae. She is also survived by six nephews, six nieces, and many grand-nephews and nieces.
