He was predeceased by: his mother Ann Helen Roby (Ross); his wife Sandra Roby (Cook); his father Charles H. Roby; and his brothers, Richard Roby and Robert Roby.
He is survived by: his son Charles L. Roby of Kansasville, Wisconsin; and his brother Donald Roby of Peru. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
