He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smith and Mildred Smith; his sons, Tim Smith and Alan Smith; and his brothers, Norris Smith and Larry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Smith; his son Darrell Lyn Smith (Cindy) of Brookland; and his stepchildren, Terry Williams (Lisa) of Brookland and Tammy Newboles (Weldon) of Paragould. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
