He is survived by: his close friend Thea Phillips; his children, Matt Scantling (Brenda) of Booneville, Tina Baker (Robert) of Edwardsville and Sherry Poynter (Chuck) of Russellville, Arkansas; and his siblings, Leroy Scantling of Booneville, Dale Scantling of Greenwood, Arkansas, Christine Farris of Booneville, Anita Bryant of Tennessee and Carol Glover (Mike) of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
