He was predeceased by: his parents, Johner Lovell and Beulah Russ Lovell; his wife Lois Key Lovell; and his son Merrell Duane Harris Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Pam Lovell of Little Rock, Jimmy Lovell Jr. of Steele and Jeanette Pickens of Missouri; his siblings, J. B. Lovell of Michigan and Christine Johnson of Coldwater, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Mason Priddy, Jennifer Lovell Williamson, Chad Lovell, Justin Lovell and Shannon Harris. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
