He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jackson and Martha Reams Jackson; his son Carl Barton Jackson; and his brother Harry Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Beanblossom Jackson; his sons, Paul Jackson (Stacy) of Louisville and Kurt Jackson (Mallory) of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Stephanie Sanders (Chris) of Corydon, Jeremy Pate (Andrea) of Corydon and Kim Jones (Chris) of Palmyra; his great grandchildren, Colin Jackson, Madelyn Jagodzinski (Joe), Alice, Jamison, Carly Jackson, Bryce Dawson, Brady Dawson, Deegan Pate, Waylon, Lucas, Esdon, Bennett and Abram Jones; and his siblings, Allen Jackson, Sondra Cates of Simpsonville and Betty Jean Campbell.
