He is survived by: his daughter Laverne Herron (Roy) of Blytheville; his grandchildren, Amanda Sims (David) of Jonesboro and Alan Herron of Louisville, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Layne and Dustin Sims; and also Yvonne Rogers of Gainesville, Georgia..
