Joyce A. Brewer Obituary
Joyce A. Brewer, 79, of Black Oak, Arkansas passed away at her home on July 11, 2022. She was born on August 27, 1942 in Michigan to Robert Sheppard and Beulah Green Sheppard. Joyce enjoyed playing the piano, singing, reading, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include; one daughter: Sarah Hill (James) of Black Oak, Arkansas; one brother: Robert "Bob" Sheppard of Michigan; one sister: Irene McGraw (Ray) of Michigan; three grandchildren: D.J. Hill (Laura) of Leachville, Arkansas, Kevin Hill of Black Oak, Arkansas, Bryan Hill (Cassie) of Ashland, Missouri; eight great grandchildren: Bradley Hill, Brandon Hill, Bailey Hill, Austin Hill, Kayden Hill, Noah Gholson, Josiah Gholson, Elizabeth Gholson; and a host of other family and friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by; parents: Robert Sheppard and Beulah Green Sheppard; loving husband: Monroe Fred Brewer; two brothers: Gene Sheppard and Donald Sheppard; three sisters: Lola Davis, Delores McClard, Lorene Schinke.
Pallbearers: D.J. Hill, Kevin Hill, Bryan Hill, Bradley Hill, Brandon Hill, and Austin Hill.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kayden Hill and Bailey Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas with Eddie Dunigan officiating. The family will receive visitors at the chapel on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Upper Cane Island Cemetery in Lake City, Arkansas.
