We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 87, Houston Earl Thomas of Black Oak, Arkansas, born in Rivervale, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Houston Earl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Houston Earl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Thomas and Ruby Waldon Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Thomas; his sons, Stacey Thomas (Keri) of Black Oak and Chris Thomas (Tiffany) of Brookland; his grandchildren, Karoline Thomas, Hailey Thomas, Tanner Thomas and Trey Thomas; and his sister Connie Thomas of Black Oak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gregg Funeral Home of Monette Monday (911 Drew Ave, Lake City, AR 72447). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
