He is survived by: his son David Leland Smith; his wife Melissa of Western Grove; his grandchildren, Cameron Jones Smith and Alyssa Jolene Smith; and his siblings, Burton, Dwaine, Billy Carson, Danny Smith, Rita Dotson and Ilene Mark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
