She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Jasper and Myra H. McDaniel (Burgess); her husband Alvie Emerson; her son Wesley Allen Emerson; her siblings, James McDaniel, Donald McDaniel and Louise Wooten; and her grandson Tony Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Emerson (Jo Claire) of Bend, Donald Emerson (Kathy) of Simpsonville, Kathy West (Howard) of Batesville and Helen Smith (Danny) of Simpsonville; and her siblings, Earl McDaniel of Okeechobee, Florida and Janis Phillips of Coalgate, Oklahoma. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
