She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marion Brown and Margret Brown (Liesman); her son James Meeks; her parents-in-law, Gleta Meeks and Joe Meeks; her brothers-in-law, Billy Joe Meeks (Mildred) and Don Meeks; and her grandson Cody Moody.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Dale Meeks (Lisa) of Jacksonville, Texas, Glenda Jean Meeks of Batesville and Laura Annette Collum (Eddie) of Bullard, Texas; her brothers, Bill Brown (Mary) of Mesquite, Wayne Brown (Sandy) of Colony, Albert Brown of Krugerville, Johnny Brown (Betty) of Grapevine and Bobby Brown (Beverly) of Irving, Texas; her great grandchildren, Scott Meeks and Joshua Meeks; her former husband Larry Gene Meeks; and also, Isis Meeks, Griffin Meeks and Jo Anne Desselle (Taylor). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
