It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John May of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Fox, Arkansas, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Burlin May and Irma Kersey May; his wife Mona Gammill May; and his sisters, Louise Harper, Kathryn Ward and Cynthia Sue Huffaker.
He is survived by: his daughter Janet May of Batesville; his brother Dean May (Martha) of Mtn; his brother-in-law Charlie Ward of Jonesboro, Indiana; and his sister Frances Kernicky (Michael) of Shawnee, Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
