He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Alexander Gilchrist and Mary Gilchrist (Lucas) of Virginia; his wife Earlene Gilchrist (McDonald); and his brothers, Norman Gilchrist and Warren Gilchrist.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Lewis of Batesville and Beth Miller (Bubba) of Batesville; his grandchildren, Landon Reeves, Mason Reeves, Madison Owens and Sydney Lewis; his great grandchildren, Maddox Reeves, Coven Owens, Lathan Owens, Parker Reeves and Collin Reeves; his brother Dr. Keith A. Gilchrist of Aurora Colorado; and his children, Deann Coleman and Jan Hicks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
