She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Kimbrel and Venie Harderson Kimbrel; her husband Billy Houston; her son Perry Dwight Houston; and her siblings, Ed Kimbrel, Frankie Vaughn and Verna Titsworth.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Houston (Shasta) of Hartman, Arkansas and Nadine Brooks of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
