With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Virden of Atkins, Arkansas, born in Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Virden and Virginia Lee Davis Virden; his brother Jerry Davis Virden; and his niece Jennifer Virden Holley. He is survived by: his wife Diane Walker Virden; his children, Jonathan Lee Virden (Becky), Jessica Virden Hickman (Dillon), Justin, Amanda Eakin, Terra and Jeremy Wilmoth; his grandchildren, Jace Deacon Virden, Sadie Griggs, Tristan Hickman, Rylee Lavel Hickman, Kaden Eakin, Addy Wimoth, Ashton Eakin, Rustyn Eakin and Canaan Eakin; his brother Billy Lane Virden (Cornelia); his niece Ginny Lou Virden; his sister-in-law Judy Virden McNutt; his niece Lesley Virden Payne; his great-nieces, Brooke and Katy Payne; his nephew Clarence Holley; his great-nephew Kobe Holley; and his mother-in-law Donna Walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the St. Joe Cemetery fund.
