He is survived by: his wife LaVaughn Caddy Smith of Arkadelphia; his children, David Carl Smith of Arkadelphia, Gary Vance Smith of Arkadelphia and Shadow Smith Pippin of Arkadelphia; and his grandchildren, Darwin, Amanda Jo, David Shayne, Mechelle, Alexa and Deanna. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
