She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ware and Callie Warren Ware; her husband Jack Shepherd; her siblings, Murrell Ware, Ailene Martin, Linda Martin, Berniece Dyess, Clarabelle Ware and Catherine Ware; and her great grandchild Jacob Shepherd.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Shepherd (Loretta) of Arkadelphia and Gary Shepherd (Rhonda) of Arkadelphia; her sisters, Virginia Davis of Friendship, Hazel Hickson of Donaldson and Earlene Roles of Hot Springs; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Ammerman, Mike Shepherd, Jessica Taylor and Jason Shepherd.
